This is a Montblanc patented hammer-trigger ballpoint pen, reportedly produced for only two years in the late 1960s. This mechanism uses an up-and-down hammer action to extend and retract the ballpoint. It takes cartridges and writes well. This is a no. 32 piston-filling fountain pen, sold around the late 1960s. Research suggests it has a 032 nib, but I don't have further details. I haven't disassembled it because I don't know how to use a piston filler. Both are Bordeaux-colored, and they would be stylish to own as a set. The fountain pen has been in a drawer for decades.
