This is an old Wajima-nuri lacquerware bowl. It features a graceful flower and bird makie design on a slightly matte black lacquer. The design, depicting seasonal flowers and wild birds, is quite tasteful. The makie work is of high quality, incorporating colored lacquer and kirikane (cut gold leaf). As shown in the images, the quail makie has a rim chip, and the body has scratches as shown in images 17-20. Individual sales are possible. There is one extra lid. The size is 11.5 cm in diameter and 8 cm in height. Please understand that this is an antique item.
