This is a pot for making baked sweet potatoes. You can make incredibly delicious baked sweet potatoes with it. The heat source is a commercially available shichirin (Japanese charcoal grill) placed inside. When baking the sweet potatoes, you cover the pot with a lid. I use a hagama (cooking pot) as a lid. When I set up a shop at events and markets, I put stones in the hagama and keep the baked sweet potatoes warm, giving them a stone-baked sweet potato flavor.
