This is a chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) or lidded yunomi (teacup) from Koyama Kiln of Arita-yaki. It is a product of Koyama Kiln, a kiln in Arita-yaki. It has a lid and is used for chawanmushi or as a yunomi. A hand-painted landscape of pine trees and a bridge is depicted on a celadon-colored base. This dish was purchased by my grandfather as a used item at an antique market. After researching, I found the information in the title. It has not been used since purchase.
