This is a hat with ear flaps and a neck warmer. The neck warmer has some pilling. I have used these items several times. The hat has been used less frequently. I wash them at home immediately after use. There is no particular odor. (However, this may vary from person to person.) These are used items. Please understand this before purchasing.
