They were stored in a wooden box, so they are in good condition. I believe they are probably unused... At first glance, there don't seem to be any scratches, but there may be some that I have overlooked. The wooden box has scratches and stains. The lid was taped all around to prevent it from coming off, so there are tape marks on the wooden box. As there is no Japanese paper for only 2 of the entertaining dishes, I will wrap them in tissue paper for shipping. I have dogs and cats, so there is a possibility of hair getting mixed in. I will be as careful as possible to prevent this, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. I will wrap the wooden box in bubble wrap and ship it via courier service. In that case, I will secure the lid of the wooden box with masking tape to prevent it from opening, so please be aware of this.
