These are zori (Japanese sandals) from Wasoan Kyoto. The top and sides are taupe (brownish gray), the thong is white with scattered gray and brown colored paper designs, and the front thong insert is crimson. The wide width makes them easy to wear. I usually wear zori from Ginza Komatsuya (now closed) or Wasoan Kyoto. I purchase Wasoan zori from Tsudaya or Takashimaya (or other department stores).
