This is a VHS-C cassette adapter made by HITACHI. It appears to be in good condition, with no noticeable scratches on the exterior. It is being sold as junk because there is no way to verify its operation. There were batteries inside, but they were likely over 30 years old and unusable, so I removed them. I did not see any signs of battery leakage. (Please check the photos)
