The soles have a bamboo-like design. The color is a light green, moss green, light khaki, young grass green, and beige. These are suitable for use as veranda sandals, balcony sandals, beach sandals, shower sandals, or pool sandals. I've only worn these a couple of times for a short period, and overall, there are no noticeable stains or damage, and the soles show very little wear.
