My cat started eating a lot at one point, so I bought this used, thinking I'd use it to dispense food more frequently when I was out. However, when the kibble was square-shaped, it sometimes got stuck unless I cut it in half, which was a hassle, so I stopped using it. It works fine with round kibble. I confirmed it was working right before listing it. I'll send it with a single battery that I replaced a year ago and haven't used much. However, when I bought it, the power didn't turn on and the motor inside didn't run with the partially used battery that was already in it. So, I recommend replacing the battery with a new one after you receive it. (A new battery seems to last about six months.) The inner container and the dish can be removed and washed. (It's been lightly cleaned, but there's a slight smell of pet food.) I'd be happy to pass it on to someone who can use it. There's some slight yellowing and dirt. Please understand that this is a used item, and if you're concerned, please refrain from purchasing.
