Thank you for viewing. This is an offering of a cutting and forestry sickle, and a hatchet sickle, both made by Ichinoseki Hamono in Akita Prefecture. The hatchet is 240mm, double-edged and single-edged (right-handed). The tip is single-edged, and the base is double-edged. It has a stunning aesthetic. Ichinoseki Hamono is no longer in business, so these are no longer available. The blades displayed in the Akita Prefectural Furusato Village Museum were made by Ichinoseki Hamono, and they were a representative blacksmith of Akita Prefecture.
