Condition: This item was found while cleaning out my grandfather's storehouse. It is a fan-shaped kogo (incense container) made by Gaku Honjo, a Kyoto-yaki (Kyoto-style pottery) piece. It was stored in a wooden box. This is a ceramic fan-shaped tea ceremony utensil with a beautiful design of Mount Fuji and birds. "Suehiro" is another name for a fan, and it is considered auspicious as it symbolizes widening fortune. I think it is generally in good condition. Please check the photos for the condition. I believe this is a valuable item nowadays.
