This is a US Navy sailor hat. The marking "DLA100-84-0644" suggests it was likely made in 1984. I purchased it as deadstock and tried it on, but found the white difficult to match, so I dyed it gray. However, I never ended up wearing it, so I'm selling it. Aside from some minor thread fraying that was present from the beginning, there are no noticeable scratches or stains.
