The base is light blue with a diamond-shaped arabesque pattern. On top, diamond patterns are woven with gold thread, and horizontal striped round crests are woven with a light blue thread, a very elaborate and detailed woven pattern. It features round crests such as hanabishi kamon (flower diamond crest), fuji maru mon (wisteria round crest), nami maru mon (wave round crest), and mitsu-giri (three-split paulownia). The overall subdued colors are not too assertive and easy to match with the kimono. The obi fabric is slightly thick and sturdy. Suitable for formal occasions. With a two-piece tsukuri-obi, the body part can be firmly tightened. There is no worry of the otaiko (back bow) collapsing. Recommended for kimono beginners.
