This is an Edo period tobacco tray I purchased from an antique shop in Tsukiji over a decade ago. It's very light, so I believe it's made of paulownia wood. Sometimes I'd use it to store remote controls, or put plants in it, enjoying it where I could see it. However, after moving a few years ago, it's been sitting in a dark room, unappreciated. It's a shame for such a beautiful piece, so I hope to pass it on to someone who will give it new life. Dimensions: 24cm wide, 16cm deep, 7.5cm high. This is an item from the Edo period.
