This is a kohiki matcha tea bowl. It is a one-of-a-kind piece handcrafted by a ceramic artist, from the mixing of the clay, white slip, and glaze, to the wheel forming and firing. The soft white color, made from high-quality materials, further enhances the color of the matcha. The slightly distorted shape and the kiln marks on the foot of the bowl are testaments to the warmth of the handmade process and the careful craftsmanship.
