It's convenient when you think your child might drop their toy! I used it by attaching it to strollers, car seats, baby beds, etc. It was easy to grip and colorful, so it was a favorite, and my child often played with just this strap. There are no noticeable stains, but there are some minor scratches as it was repeatedly played with by a child. My child no longer uses it, so I hope someone else will continue to enjoy it.
