These are modeled after the koalas that Mikuni met at the Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland. They were made into amigurumi, and then into needle caps. These needle caps were created by Kitan Club, masters of figure production. The stockinette stitch is faithfully reproduced stitch by stitch by the hands of the prototype artist. These needle caps fit knitting needles from size 3 to size 11. When attached to the tips of your knitting needles, they might look like koalas climbing to the top of a eucalyptus tree!
