It features a very large 60mm case width and is heavy, and unlike ordinary pocket watches, it is used by placing it on a table or desk rather than carrying it around. The dial is white with large Arabic numeral fonts, making it very easy to read the time. It was a highly accurate clock used as a standard time reference in old watch stores, railways, and telephone exchange operations. General second setting (seconds hand stop function) stops the second hand immediately when the crown is pulled, but this watch does not stop the second hand immediately when the crown is pulled. It stops when it reaches the 60 position at the top, allowing for accurate time setting. This is also one of the reasons it was adopted by the Japanese National Railways. Although it is a watch from about 60 years ago, it is a SEIKO Model 24 Standard Clock in good condition, maintaining a very good condition.
