I'm unsure when I purchased this, and I don't have the instruction manual or the original box, but it's easy to operate. The switch seems to be slightly indented, but it doesn't affect the operation. I have cleaned and disinfected it, but as you can see in the photos, there are some areas on the blades that I couldn't remove the debris from.
