The basket is made in the traditional way, with bamboo tightly woven into an Amijiro pattern, covered with washi paper, and finished with lacquer. It has a calm, handcrafted feel. I think it can be used for various purposes, such as a daily clothes basket, a luggage basket for guests, or a kimono/yukata basket.
