This seal is a product developed by our store, and each one is made by polishing the seal material one by one, so the size and shape are slightly different. The seal engraving is a work of art carefully created by skilled seal engravers after hand-writing the seal characters. (Currently, most commercially available round seals are machine-carved, so if you engrave the same character on a seal material of the same diameter, the seal face will be almost the same.) The seal character, Tensho (seal script), is a style from the time of Qin Shi Huang of China about 2300 years ago and is said to be the most beautiful character style. Seal engraving is a work of art, so the design of the seal face includes techniques such as tapping in addition to carving, and the jaggedness and subtle chipping of the seal face characters and frame are part of the design and are not defects.
