This is a dress tunic made from a soft, lustrous, grayish-purple紬 (tsumugi) silk kimono with little sign of wear. The subtly elegant, tie-dyed camellia flowers scattered throughout add a touch of refinement. As there was a sewn-on family crest of oak leaves, I believe this was a kimono suitable for slightly formal occasions, although the crest has not been used in the remake.
