This is a British Army PCS Thermal Smock. It's a military jacket from the British Army's cold weather layering system. The outer fabric is highly water-repellent micro ripstop nylon, and the lining uses highly insulating microfleece material. All zippers are waterproof, and a hood is stored in the collar. Zippers are also placed on both sides and under the arms, functioning as ventilation. The front chest pocket can be turned inside out for compact storage. Before the development of the PCS series, all current British Army equipment was produced in China. Therefore, there is no "Made in Britain" version of the PCS series. As it is currently used by the British Army, there is no concept of deadstock, and there are no changes in specifications or differences in fabric depending on the year. The PCS series is available in only one color, which appears coyote under fluorescent light and olive in sunlight.
