This is a true early model, with some molding on the internal AC adapter, and the footswitch has a handwritten serial number. The early models had blue wiring and red wiring for the footswitch, but this one has a different footswitch specification, a two-digit period that doesn't exist in the three-digit period. It's a unit packed with the history of the early production. The sound is characteristic of the early models, with a subdued compression feel and a dry sound, with a sense of separation and high resolution, similar to vintage TS-series and vintage effectors. It's a one-of-a-kind encounter!! 『Product Introduction』 No explanation needed, this is a fantastic sounding effector that anyone who likes TS-series sounds will want to put in their top 5 alongside vintage TS effectors!! If I were to hold a booster final tournament, I would bring vintage TS808, TS9, TS10, Goki-buri Damashii TS5, and for some reason, the early BB Preamp and early Crowther Audio Hotcake, even though they don't inherit the name TS, as seeded players!! LOL. And, unlike the TS, it has a Bass knob that allows for low-end control, and as the name Preamp suggests, the amp-like responsiveness that doesn't lose high frequencies when the guitar volume is turned down is truly the aura of a champion that should win the finals!! It's a masterpiece that guitarists around the world, both professional and amateur, can't help but hold and not let go, as if cursed, with a B~B~ sound. The mid-range is the main focus, and the addition of the Bass knob EQ to the sharp personality allows for thick SRV sound making, which is amazing!! Also, the early models with flat screws used op-amps, clipping, and electrolytic capacitors that were considered the best at the time, so I'll say with certainty that the thick, rustic, yet dry and warm texture cannot be produced by current products!! It's definitely an effector that will increase in price over time, along with vintage TS-series and OD1, so if you've been looking for one, get it early because production has ended and the number is limited!!
