FootJoy wingtip shoes from the 70s-80s. About 20 years ago, I bought these at a used clothing store (Desert Snow) thinking, "What cool shoes! I'll wear them when I'm old enough to suit them." Desert Snow in Niigata is now closed. The manufacturer's name on the insole is faded and almost gone. At the time, I was told they were of unknown manufacturer, made in the USA, but I've since learned they are FootJoy. The size is 8 1/2D, about 26.5cm, and the color is black. I could wear them back then (when I tried them on), but I can't anymore after storing them. It seems the D width doesn't fit me. The soles show little wear, and there are few wrinkles, so I think they haven't been worn much. There are minor scratches and scuffs on the uppers, but I don't think there is any noticeable major damage. I think it's rare to find them in good condition. Larger sizes are often listed, but this size is valuable. FootJoy is famous as a golf brand, but I was impressed to see that they used to make shoes like these. I hope someone who can wear them will be interested. What do you think?
