It features a very elaborate gimmick (step-back style) where the internal tray rises in a staircase shape when the lid is opened. Regarding the music box: There is a winding key on the bottom, and it has a music box function, but it is currently not working due to aging. Please be aware of this. The marquetry on the exterior has delicate birds and arabesque patterns beautifully preserved, and it has ample antique value as an ornament or a small item container. Condition of the item: Exterior: The marquetry is beautifully preserved, and it is in good condition as a vintage item. Mechanism: The unfolding gimmick works smoothly. Interior: The texture of the wood is good, and there is no noticeable damage.
