I was using it normally in my home theater setup until R7.12.18. I connected the LX58 to a Marantz AV amplifier for home theater use. The tray had been opening and closing roughly for a while, but I was able to use it if I waited. (It takes some patience. Sometimes it won't open for about 10 minutes.) Other than that, I had no particular complaints, but I bought and replaced it with a SONY x800m2, which was on sale at a nearby large electronics store, thanks to a friendly salesperson. I wanted to watch Ultra Blu-ray. Regarding Blu-ray picture quality, the x800m2 seems to have a manufactured picture quality, and I prefer the 4k update of the LX58. This is entirely a matter of preference. The sound quality is a landslide victory for the LX58. I almost considered switching back at this point. The operation is fine as I was using it until recently, but the tray opening and closing is a junk issue where you have to repeatedly press the button to get it to open. If there's a disc inside, it almost always opens on the first try (for some reason). The exterior is very clean, but due to the tray issue, I've marked the condition as poor. The remote control works perfectly. I'm also including a WIREWORLD HDMI cable. It cost about 15,000 yen at Audio Ippin-kan back then.
