I used these a lot as business shoes. I believe they were around 40,000 yen at the time. I purchased them at the official store in the Hanshin Umeda department store. They have a British-like shape, adapted from Edward Green's last. While they may lack the heaviness, the shape is in the British shoe style, and they are easy to wear. I've had the heels replaced and rubber applied to the front at a repair shop in Osaka (the way things to go). My Aldens are size 8, my Green shoes are 7 1/2, and my New Balance are 27.5cm.
