I deconstructed a child's pair of shorts and a dress to make this handmade item. I made it vertically to hold textbooks and a recorder for elementary school field trips. As the child got older and needed something with more capacity, I'm now selling this one. Height: Approximately 33 cm Width: Approximately 25 cm No gusset The outer fabric is from Children's Place shorts, which is a sturdy material. I also removed the brand tag from the shorts, as it seemed a shame to waste it, and sewed it onto the tote bag's handle. The lining is from a Gymboree dress. Both are overseas brands with vibrant patterned fabrics that are not often seen in Japan, and they are very cute, so I couldn't bear to throw them away, and I upcycled them. (I wasn't selling on Mercari when I made it.) • I added a pocket to the lining, but the threads on both sides frayed, creating small holes, so I reinforced them. ♦︎I am not a professional, so there may be errors, misalignments, double stitching, etc., but please understand this.
