The color is dark gray. It comes with a removable inner lining, so you can wear it for a long time, in winter, autumn, and spring. I bought it 5 years ago, but I've only worn it 4 times. It has been dry cleaned. There are no noticeable stains, but it is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things.
