This is a tsumami zaiku (pinched fabric) Hina doll. It's small, so you can display it anywhere. The base is made with origami using Aizu cotton from Fukushima. I got a lovely charm of a Japanese sword, so I've given it to the doll to hold. It's made of chirimen fabric, so it's delicate and sensitive to water. Please handle it gently.
