This is a small bowl from the Edo period, over 200 years old. It has a lot of character. I think it would be perfect for simmered dishes or simple, traditional Japanese side dishes. It says "Tokui Saku" (Made by Tokui). I believe it is used, but I have not used it since I acquired it.
