I used it because there was a color requirement for undershirts in my amateur baseball games, but the regulations were relaxed and it's no longer needed. I've only worn it about 5 times, so it's relatively clean. It has a thin brushed lining. I don't think one of these shirts alone would be sufficient in extremely cold weather.
