Thank you for viewing from among many items. This is a fukuro obi (formal obi) for furisode (long-sleeved kimono). The material is probably silk. It has a rokusentai (six-panel) pattern with a vibrant, glossy green base and a vermilion-based karaori (woven pattern) that is very striking. It is an old item, but it is soft and the pattern and condition are good, so I am offering it for sale. There are fold marks on the back of the pattern and slight thread protrusions on the front. There are stains on the hanging embroidery and the green parts, which are shown in the photos. Neither is noticeable unless pointed out, and they are not at a conspicuous level. There is also a smell that is typical of old items, but it is not bothersome. It can be worn, but it is also good for display, as a table center, or for remaking into a bag. *Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to vintage items.
