PARAGON has a long history, founded in 1897 under the company name Star China. Its excellent works became popular, and the company changed its name to Paragon China in 1919, establishing a high status as a kiln. In 1926, it produced pottery for the celebration of Queen Elizabeth's birth and became a Royal Warrant holder, and was a Royal Warrant brand for a long time from 1933 to around 1960. Production under the name Paragon ended in 1992, but special editions have been sold. Currently, Paragon is under the umbrella of the Wedgwood Group.
