This is a copper pot for use in a hibachi. It is made of iron. There is rust, but if you continue to wipe it with a wet cloth while it's hot during use, it should become clean. I have cleaned rust from iron kettles and iron pots using this method many times, but some were not perfect. This is not a guarantee. It's just a reference. I will sell this to someone who enjoys nurturing and understands antiques. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about details.
