This is a Royal Selangor beer mug. The material is pewter, and the bottom is decorated with 24-karat gold (I believe it's plated). I purchased it in Malaysia about 5 years ago. It is said to be a product used by the royal family. I have never used it as a beer mug, but I have enjoyed displaying it in a curio cabinet because of its wonderful design. Unfortunately, I have decided to put it up for sale because my curio cabinet is full. I think it is in very good condition, but it is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
