I am selling items to organize my home. This is a French Army Bourgeron jacket from the 1930s-40s. I purchased it last year from a vintage clothing store specializing in Euro vintage. The M38 Bourgeron jacket was adopted by the French Army as workwear. The fabric is cotton twill. Originally, metal buttons were used on the front, but they have all been replaced with wooden buttons. The epaulettes and persimmon wood buttons on the cuffs are original (see photos 4 and 5). It has a strong A-line silhouette, typical of French design. It features a round collar, hook vent, and the top hook is still intact. Also, it's quite rare to find the stamps remaining this clearly, which should appeal to enthusiasts. This size is hard to come by, so please feel free to inquire if you're interested! As you can see in photos 10, 11, and 12, the belt is missing, there are rust stains all over, and there is a repair on the collar. Therefore, I would like to offer it at a reasonable price. Size: Unknown Length: 72cm Shoulder width: 46cm Sleeve length: 60cm Width: 61cm Please understand that there may be some errors due to amateur measurements. If there are any other areas you would like me to measure, please feel free to contact me. This is a vintage item. I believe it will be fine for those accustomed to vintage clothing, but please understand that it is USED. Please refer to my profile page before making a purchase.
