This is a pair of Kutani-yaki teacups for a married couple. They were at my parents' house, so I don't know the details. A Manyoshu poem is written on the inside of the teacups. I believe they are unused, but upon checking them after taking them out of the box, there was a slight chip or peeling (about 1mm) on the gold rim of the larger teacup. These are old items, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things or do not understand their condition. The box is included, but it has some damage and stains.
