It's a versatile tie that can be worn with navy or gray suits, and even with a black suit for a slightly different look than a black tie. There are no noticeable stains or tears, but there is one spot near the center where the tie is folded where the fibers are slightly frayed, as if caught by a fingernail (see photo 8, center). It's not noticeable from a distance, and it can be hidden on the back depending on how you tie the knot, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
