This is a Christmas Night design by Edith Hansen for Permin, stitched with flower thread on Permin 10B linen, with hand-stitched hemming around the edges. (It's a little early for Christmas, but...) The colors are very subdued, but the gold thread sparkles beautifully, and I was impressed with how well-designed the pattern is as I worked on it. The falling snow and the sky are both entirely stitched. Also, because gold thread is difficult to work with, I used short lengths of thread, changing them many times as I stitched. It took time and effort, so I have reflected that slightly in the price. Embroidered area: 13 x 13 cm Overall fabric size: 21.5 x 21.5 cm In the fourth photo, I've tried it with a square frame with a muted green mat, but this is not included. I hope you understand that this is a hobby piece, and I hope you like it.
