◎ This is a Headway HYG-038. The serial number is 200154XX. It's a small-bodied type. Both the neck and body are carefully and well-made (see images). The sound, which is subjective, has a good volume for its size and a bright tone. ◎ Regarding the scratches, there are thin strumming scratches on the top of the body (see images), and thin scratches on the back (see images). There is a small dent, about half the size of a grain of rice, on the back of the neck at the 3rd fret. Other than that, there are only a few small dents and very minor scratches, and it seems to be in overall good condition (see images). The metal parts, such as the tuners, are in good condition (see images). The frets show some metal fatigue, dullness, and discoloration (see images). The fingerboard has slight playing marks (see images). Also, the bridge is properly attached at both ends, but there is a gap in the middle where paper can be inserted (see images). ◎ The neck has no warping. The string height at the 12th fret is approximately 2.5mm for the 6th string (enough space to insert a 1-yen coin), and approximately 2.0mm for the 1st string (a little space to insert a 1-yen coin). Overall, the string height is low, making it easy to play. There is no difficulty in playing in its current state, but if it feels difficult to play, the bridge saddle has some room for adjustment, so it can be adjusted by shaving it down. The frets have wear of about 2-3/10 (estimated) depending on the location, with 7-8/10 remaining.
