80% wool, 20% nylon. The stand-up collar keeps your neck warm. There are some pills under the arms and on the cuffs, but they're not very noticeable due to the pattern. Since it's not acrylic knit, you can carefully cut them off with scissors if you're concerned. It's a warm, tightly-knit sweater. I'm selling it because I've outgrown it.
