Thank you for viewing! This is a set of a shibori obiage (undersash) and obijime (sash cord). It belonged to my mother, who loves kimono. She no longer wears kimono, so I'm offering it to someone who will appreciate it. It's old, but it was well-cared for, and there are no noticeable stains. It has been stored for many years in a paulownia kimono chest. I aired it out, but a slight storage odor remains, so I've marked the condition as "slightly damaged or with stains." Both the obiage and obijime are vermilion. The obiage has a shibori (tie-dye) section as shown in photo 2, and a non-shibori section. It's difficult to see, but there are needle marks in the non-shibori section, likely from hand-sewing to adjust the size (photo 8). There's also a snag on the frill (photo 9). The obiage measures approximately 128cm in length, including the frill. The obijime is vermilion with black edging. I hope someone who loves kimono will use these.
