I believe it's cotton or linen. The fabric appears to be pieced together. It's thin and has a smooth, airy feel. I think it could be used as a throw for a sofa or chair, or casually draped over a table at a BBQ. I purchased it at an antique shop in Osaka, where it was described as fabric from the 1960s or 1970s. Thank you.
