This is a kimono that has been worn by the children of relatives for generations. It is a set consisting of a long kimono and a sleeveless padded half-coat (chamban). I've been told that the fabric is Fuji silk, which is similar to habutae silk. It is believed to be from around the early Showa era, or perhaps even earlier. As it was worn by children, there are many stains, blemishes, and small holes from insect bites. The base color is a yellowish-off-white, which somewhat conceals the dirt, but there are noticeable stains on the collar and other prominent areas. It's cute, so I'm listing it as is, but whether it can be worn is a matter of personal preference. There are also relatively clean areas, so it could be used for remaking. It will be folded small and shipped via Takkyubin in a 60-size box.
