Teru-eki Seisakusho began in the late Meiji era in Rokumachi, Morioka City (present-day Sakana-machi) where they ran a tea shop and inn. Along with the sale of tea, they began to handle tea utensils, and they also had an iron kettle factory next door. Later, the factory moved to Esashi Koji (present-day Minami-Odori), and in the 1950s, it moved along with other workshops in Morioka City with the opening of the handmade village. Unfortunately, Terumitsu-do (Teru-eki Seisakusho) closed in 2008, and new, unused items rarely appear. Please forgive any slight errors as this is amateur measurement.
