Hand-spun and hand-woven fabric made from Thai mountain silk. The color in the third photo is the closest to the actual fabric. It is a very light and delicate weave, making it ideal for curtains, noren (traditional Japanese fabric dividers), or small screens. It's also great for tiered skirts, as it's lightweight and highly breathable, resulting in a wonderful finish. The texture is similar to Thai silk scarves often found in Asian雑貨 stores and traditional Japanese clothing stores. As it is hand-spun and hand-woven raw silk, there are occasional slubs and the weave is not uniform, allowing you to enjoy the natural texture. There may be some unevenness in the dyeing due to the hand-dyeing process. Dry cleaning is recommended for washing.
