Thank you for viewing. This is a pair of Rose Blue cups and saucers, featuring a bold design of roses in a white base with a sometsuke (blue and white) style. These were displayed in their original box with cellophane wrapping at a major recycling shop that primarily buys and sells new, unused items. There are no cutlery marks, and judging by the excellent condition, I believe these were likely never used as tableware. The cups in this series have a rough texture on the lip, as if the glaze wasn't applied. There was some light soiling on that area, so I have bleached and cleaned the cups only. Also, please note that the right cup has a very small, step-like line that appears to be an initial defect from the manufacturing process. I personally believe this meets the manufacturer's shipping standards. Cup: Diameter of the lip is approximately 9.7 cm, height is approximately 5.6 cm. Saucer: Diameter is approximately 14.7 cm, height is approximately 2.1 cm. They will be packed in the original box and reinforced with recycled cardboard for shipping. The box has some damage. If they don't sell, I will gradually lower the price to a certain point, so please refrain from price negotiations. These are pre-owned display items. There are also manufacturing imperfections.
